So I tend to have trouble sleeping at nights and I figure a good way to start passing my time is through chronicling my life which really only consists of three things; School, Work and occasionally play, but not too much.
Just as everyone does I have been struggling quite a bit as of late to balance everything in my life. I guess most 23-year olds by now are graduated and working but not me. I still got another 2 years of school left in me before I head out into the "real world" because lets be honset, provo is not what I imagine the "real world" to be like. But along with the recent struggles I have found new things to keep me happy when I start to feel stressed or down. I've learned to really enjoy the simple things in life. Something I never really did before.
Believe it or not working at Blockbuster provides me with these simple pleasures every now and again. Most recently a smile was brought to my face in the form of an older polynesian gentleman who came into the store on Halloween when I was working. A group of teenage kids were debating on what movie to get and they had decided on the new Sam Raimi film "Drag Me To Hell" and were discussing it. The Polynesian man walked up to the group of kids and said (in a great wise old poly accent) "Instead of Drag Me to Hell, I would prefer Drag Me to Heaven." Highlight of my day.
The simple things children, the simple things.
Oh, and the Suns are 4-1. Just saying.
